Joined lots and lots and lots of friends at No Kings in Cedar Rapids, IA. 100% peaceful and nothing but love for our country! Thanks to CRPD for keeping us safe.

Also, happy flag day and happy 250th anniversary army!

CR Pride showed up and showed out at the Houby Days Parade this past Saturday!

We brought the rainbow (and the mushrooms!) to Czech Village to celebrate community, culture, and connection.

Huge thanks to everyone who marched with us and cheered us on — your support means the world!

Still feeling inspired after attending the VoteVets town hall with Secretary Pete Buttigieg. It was powerful to hear him speak about service, leadership, & the future of our country.

Best part of the day? Sharing it with my mom & watching her light up when she got her very first photo with Pete!

Great to catch up with Pete Buttigieg tonight. I feel like a big deal even though I'm not a big deal.

Tonight gave me hope.

Great turnout today for Indivisble's Absent Ashley Town Hall. I learned about it yesterday and decided to swing by.

I never expected this many people to be at an event that they knew our representative would not attend even though she was invited.

People are motivated. This is proof.

Hopefully @karaswisher.bsky.social finds a way to buy the Post soon.

We need an update on @pivotpod.bsky.social soon!
So Marty Baron says it plain: “It was only weeks ago that The Post described itself as providing coverage for ‘all of America,’” Baron wrote in his statement. “Now its opinion pages will be open to only some of America, those who think exactly as he does.” www.thedailybeast.com//ex-wapo-edi...

Former executive editor Marty Baron told the Daily Beast there was “no doubt in my mind” that Bezos was prioritizing his business interests over The Washington Post.

Very sad indeed. Women are bad asses and do a better job than men at running the government.
UNFUN FACT: The is the first incoming Congress to have fewer woman than the one before it.

When your wardrobe consists of "work sweats" and "post work sweats," it's nice to get to dress up every once in a while.

Had a great time at the LGBT+ Tanager Youth Luncheon today! Now, to change and get a lift in!

Age appropriate books belong in the classroom.
1. A teacher in Ohio who has worked at the same public school for 34 years was suspended without pay and threatened with termination for offering four books in her classroom library that contained LGBTQ characters.

She's fighting back.
