Here's how I look at it: Adaptations of books are just that, adaptations. They will not and can never be a one-to-one translation of what's on the page and what's in your head. Don't expect that, and instead see how it plays the changes. If it still keeps the overall vibe you loved, it's a winner.
I'm afraid. I have a hard time trusting screen versions of books I love. I'm not sure they'll convey the dry humor, the impatience, the puzzledness, or the Murderbotness of Murderbot.

Shitty people have realized that the former Twitter isn't a place where they can have "fun" anymore, so they're going to where they can antagonize others. "Don't Engage, Just Block" is a good first step here. And don't wait for them to be shitty to you, block 'em when they're shitty to others.

unless the server spits in my food in front of me the tipping starts at 20%, rounded up, and goes up from there

if you routinely tip under 15% in this country you should not eat out
From a recent Pew Research report: “A majority of Americans say they would tip 15% or less for an average meal at a sit-down restaurant.” 2% say they tip nothing. Quality of service is a major factor in most Americans’ tipping practices. [pewresearch.org]
