At this point seeing a bunch of Youtube videos talking about how the latest Disney live-action remake is bad is the equivalent to seeing a bunch of videos talking about how water is wet.

The plaque honoring the heroes of January 6 is finished, but the GOP refuses to hang it in the Capitol.

Not one Republican has offered a reason why.

If they can’t respect the officers who defended our democracy, the very least they can do is respect the law.

I thought of something interesting just now. I’m gonna try building a new theme park in Planet Coaster, but every coaster I build will be based on YOUR suggestions! If you have an idea for a coaster then put it in the replies to this post and I’ll try making it!

You can't be a leftist and defend gen-AI. Because it requires saying that the product is more important than people who make it, and if people don't come first, you're not a leftist. Gen-AI doesn't free a person from a menial assembly line job. It makes an artist unable to pursue their passion.

If you think ChatGPT or anything similar to it is a net positive to society, then we do not share the same values.
There are a lot of critiques of LLMs that I agree with but "they suck and aren't useful" doesn't really hold water.

I understand people not using them because of social, economic, and environmental concerns. And I also understand people using them because they can be very useful.

Thoughts?
