Hi Ayesha, I’m a fan and listen to you devotedly on Times Radio as I do my weekend stuff.
Can I ask one thing? Please don’t say ‘everyday people’ I probably am one — dull, boring not a media/ comms type. But it feels like a put down—reminds me of Leona Hemsley. Thanks!

Whilst the numbers might be very positive (and they are), there’s a fundamental problem.
This new Labour Government simply are not brave enough to do anything concrete on this issue.

I wish that they would, yet I fear that they won’t.
"New polling shows that the vast majority of voters who went to the polls to vote for a Keir Starmer government want Labour to drop its Brexit “red lines” and reverse the Tory legacy on Europe."

Guardian headline, ‘Starmer appears to leave door open for potential EU youth exchange scheme’
Can anyone tell me why he would not go for this? Such a no brainer even for those who voted to leave, surely?

Aw is it just me? I made it during the pandemic but now I avoid sourdough like the plague. Too hard, too hokey, too— well— sour. Guess I’m just post-sourdough.
