It amazes me that some merchants think that consumers actually want multiple emails from them in the same day. I can imagine there are some use cases where this might be valuable (e.g. a doctor's appointment or an important exam, etc.) #spam #retail #emailmarketing

In another example, people seem to assume that all LLMs are equal, which is demonstrably false.
We're at the point where everyday consumers are not able to assess the risk involved in using a technology product.
- For regular people, there seems to be no difference between #Waymo and any other company offering autonomous vehicles.

I don't understand why people are still trying to collaborate with emails and pptx docs. I mean, I get it, but it's not collaborative and we have excellent free tools which are collaborative (#gsuite etc). I mean Microsoft has online tools - you don't need to send out attachments anymore

Friendly tip: it’s really helpful to have #businesscards if you want to do #business in #Japan. It lends an air of legitimacy and professionalism to one’s business, and tells people that you’re serious, which is particularly important in Japan in my opinion. #dealingwithjapan #businesstips

It seems like Google Maps reviews for pharmacies are a good point lower than reviews for restaurants, etc. e.g. a 3.1 can be a decent rating for a pharmacy while it would be a poor rating for a restaurant.

In general people need to protect their intellectual property. Reading contracts is a good 1st step towards doing that. Providing your own contract is advanced, but not too difficult :D
