Oh one tool to help address the problem: deepmind.google/models/synth... but only works for content generated by Google's genAI products
SynthID
SynthID is a tool to watermark and identify AI-generated content, helping to foster transparency and trust in generative AI.

e.g. I'll tolerate 1 email per week, but probably prefer 1 every 2 weeks, depending on the type of site

Some better ways to approach this
* Figure out a framework around email timings; Test variations on that framework to see which does better with your audience
* Allow your users to specify email frequency

But who wants multiple emails about products they don't care about?
1 email about a sale is more than sufficient & sending me more than one email in the same day moves you to the top of the list to be #unsubscribed.
More than one email in a week puts you on the list.

At the end I answered the 2 feedback questions (I took a few points off since I had to repeat myself a few times, etc.).

Hopefully products like this free up businesses to devote more time on improve their process quality and reduce errors such as the omission of my item in shipping.

Overall, it was pretty fast - it just took a few minutes to get to the refund step, and it wasn’t too tedious for me to guide it through all of my info.

However it was “empowered” to give me a refund for a missing item, and it was able to get the information from me in the format that it needed (mostly a series of yes-no questions) for a satisfactory conclusion.

tl;dr #Waymo has been focused on the specific problem of road driving since 2009; no other autonomous driving service has nearly the same kind of testing depth and breadth.

That's not to say that other companies won't catch up, but right now I don't think anyone is there yet.
November 4, 2025 at 8:50 PM
I doubt that they know that #Waymo has been road testing since 2009, and did its first autonomous ride in 2015.
November 4, 2025 at 8:40 PM
They're unaware of the amount of testing and the quality of testing that Waymo has done and they're unable to compare that to the testing that other companies have done.

I don't think they know that #Waymo has been offering public rides since 2022.

I was chatting with someone who'd taken their first #Waymo ride recently, and mentioned that they hadn't tried the other companies yet. I was surprised, because I don't think I'd trust a ride from other services yet.
