Tbh this actually really irritated me. How many different ways do you need to hear “racism is bad and hurts us” before you just accept it? How many people have to share their trauma with you? You HAVE heard from those that live it and they’re telling you that this isn’t a helpful convo.

*sigh* it shouldn’t be about ~wanting~ anything. It should be natural to condemn white supremacy. Black people don’t owe you an education. Black people don’t owe you comfort. Black people don’t owe you kindness. Either do the work or don’t. Do you compensate people or do you expect free lessons?

I think that instead of asking POC these questions you should instead find white people who have already done this work and have them educate you. If everyone is telling you the same thing you’re either not hearing it or not interested. Black people are tired of this conversation.
