🙋‍♂️ Anyone trying to form a session for AEAs? I have three papers that could work... one could fit with urban/innovation/effects of tech & AI, one is urban/health, and one is health/public. #econsky please share! 👍

Nice Stata Q: rdrobust appears to have removed options for manually specifying # bins or binning method (quantile, even counts, etc.). My RD now defaults to using each data point as its own bin? Is manual binning before running rdrobust the only workaround? #econsky #stata

I would even add: please shamelessly promote your work

One terrific thing I enjoyed on old Twitter was discovering new papers

Trust me, you will have an audience if you share your work on Bluesky
No need to apologize for promoting your work here.

Who better to tell us about it? Who knows it sooner or better?

Grateful to the NBER for sharing our work! Just 19 days ago, we thought posting a thread and sharing only on X made sense... but Bluesky's growth over just the past three weeks has been amazing! (Note: paper is now forthcoming at JHealthEcon!) @jcmecon.bsky.social @kteltser.bsky.social

Find myself using phrases like "the changes I document" instead of "the changes I find" and "For instance" instead of "For example" and I just know I picked them up from constantly reading ChatGPT output. 🙃

New life goal: have my research be sufficiently focused that I get into *one* starter pack!

Am I health? Labor? Urban? Econ History? Who knows! 🤣

I've created a starter pack I'm calling "Education economics and policy", based on folks I follow in this area.

Please let me know if I've missed you!

Made my own website (www.conorjlennon.com) from scratch this evening in about 90 minutes. Can’t believe I’ve been paying for a website builder just to make a simple static website for years. 🤦🏻‍♂️
