Lawyer – mostly intellectual property in my practice. Lotta political opinions (don't worry they're all good ones).
Is there any reporting on the anti-rescission stuff in there yet

Most words are not spelled “withoutanymistakes,” which is actually not a word at all but a short phrase

I haven’t seen reporting on it but it looks like there’s some anti-rescission stuff in this CR too

“1776 • 2026” makes the coin look like an epitaph.

Incidentally, the Trump administration is what it looks like when many of your senior officials care deeply about catering to online sentiment at all times. I am skeptical that such an approach could ever produce competent government, whatever the ideological alignment.

Anyone who thinks in longer time horizons than that will gravitate to seeing that sort of ephemeral sentiment as something to be manipulated, to the extent they engage with it at all.

The overall political sentiment of this website at any given time tracks, at most, 48 hours into the future—and that’s being generous.

I can’t tell who the client is that commissioned the poll (and their website is down), but between the population of “Trump’s policies” and “Should Maduro be arrested?” it seems like it’s probably a GOP-affiliated donor

While we’re on the subject of Kirkland Signature, we stocked up on this because it is *excellent* and $20/bottle.

We thought it would last longer but instead we just drank more wine.

Our Costco is out of stock of it now… probably for the best.

“In retrospect it turned out to have been the right decision for us, but it might not have been.”

Sharp contrast with the attitude of CEOs who try to project that they have never and could never make a wrong decision.

It is difficult to imagine bread that’s $800/loaf within a year without something going really catastrophically wrong.

This (well not anti-RIF specifically) was the outcome I thought likeliest at the start of it
I am aware! But I think the basic trade that would be made here is “you get a win but not a public win.”
November 10, 2025 at 3:47 AM
Looks like anti-RIF stuff

The choices here were the shutdown stove or the ACA subsidies stove. It’s all stove!

He prob just wants to replace Schumer because he’s not sufficiently into crypto

Does it pass the house?
November 10, 2025 at 3:38 AM
It turned out she did register as a Republican in FL when she bought that house there didn’t it? In like… 2023?
