When I was growing up, kimchi was seen as weird and embarrassing. Today, kimchi and more broadly Korean American culture are celebrated and beloved. That is the story of America and it’s what makes this country great. Happy National Kimchi Day everyone!

To be clear, I oppose socialism in this country. But I voted no on HCR 58 as it is fundamentally dishonest.

Words matter. By falsely equating socialism with communism, this reso attacks some of our closest allies and compares them to communist tyrants like Stalin and Pol Pot.

Public service is an honor, not an opportunity for self-enrichment at the expense of our constituents. 

My bill, the Stock Act 2.0, would ban stock trading for members of Congress, the Judiciary, and the Executive Branch. It’s time to bring accountability back to government.

Donald Trump has spent months trying to kill this vote on releasing the Epstein files. 

Why? Because his name is all over them. @oversightdemocrats.house.gov won’t stop fighting until everyone involved is held accountable.

Republicans finally realized protecting pedophiles is not a tenable position in America.

But let’s not let this distract us from the fact that we wouldn’t need this vote if Donald Trump would just release the files. We need justice.

House Republicans have said those of us fighting to release the Epstein files have "Trump Derangement Syndrome."

But they suffer from something far worse: Pedophile Protection Syndrome (PPS).

Abetting child sex traffickers is evil, it's un-American, and it cannot stand.

Trump appears early and often in the Epstein files. It’s clear why the White House and Mike Johnson have been trying to cover this up.

But there cannot be one set of rules for Trump, and another for his critics.

The American people deserve answers, and we won’t stop fighting until we get them.

Follow the money.

That’s what the survivors of Epstein’s sex trafficking ring told me when I met with them this summer.

This cover up is much bigger than any of us realize. We must keep pushing for justice and accountability.

There’s a cover up happening right now but we can end it by forcing the release of the entire Epstein files.

I won’t stop until we get answers, find justice for the survivors, and give the American people the transparency they deserve.

My message to Speaker Mike Johnson:

Stop protecting pedophiles. Release the Epstein Files. Feed hungry kids. And lower costs for the American people.

Donald Trump promised to lower costs. He lied.

From his tariffs to raising health care costs for millions, Trump is making life unaffordable.

In Trump’s America, the only people who benefit are billionaires.

Mike Johnson and Donald Trump were denying SNAP benefits and creating air traffic delays to try to “ratchet up the pain” for their political benefit.

It’s a shame that Mike Johnson cares more about protecting pedophiles than lowering costs or feeding hungry kids.

Happy Veterans Day! Today we honor the brave men and women who have served our nation with courage and dedication.

I was grateful to host a roundtable last week with OC veterans to hear their concerns and discuss what we can do to better meet the needs of our veteran community.

I stopped by OCC’s food bank to hear how the lapse in funding for SNAP will affect OC students and families.

Across the country, families are having to choose between putting food on the table and affording health care because of the Trump administration.

I’ll keep fighting to protect OC families.

Republicans – end your vacations. Get back to work. Families across the nation are counting on us to protect their benefits and end this shutdown.

Three months ago, the DHS failed to answer my questions about ICE agent misconduct.

Now, I’m leading 21 members of Congress in a letter to DHS Sec. Kristi Noem demanding oversight and accountability. No one is above the law, and that includes ICE agents.

Katherine is the primary caregiver for her autistic, nonverbal daughter. 

Republican cuts to health care will prevent her daughter from accessing the care she needs and force Katherine to choose between putting food on the table or paying medical bills. We must keep fighting to protect Medicaid.
