The DOJ is required to release the Epstein files today. But given their total disregard for the rule of law, they cannot be trusted. House Oversight Dems must be determined and diligent. The survivors—and the American people—deserve no less.

The holidays have arrived here in Longworth House Office Building! @tokuda.house.gov and I now have a bit of a battle going on over who has the best holiday decorations. Regardless, I’m happy to see so many offices get in the holiday spirit. Happy Holidays, everyone!

Whether it’s cash in CAVA bags or pardons for donors, this is the most corrupt Admin in history.

But stopping corruption isn’t enough. We must also restore trust in government.

Proud to chair the new CPC Fighting Corruption Task Force. Thanks to @warren.senate.gov for joining our launch.

Few people possess the technical skills, discipline, and mission focused mindset that our veterans have. I was proud to introduce @houlahan.house.gov’s amendment to support our veterans and ensure economic security for them while also working to strengthen our workforce.

Under Trump, billionaires are getting tax breaks while working families are getting shafted.

In the OC, health care costs could jump 50–200% — that’s unacceptable. No family should have to choose between keeping the lights on and seeing a doctor.

We must protect affordable health care.

Thank you to BD for hosting me in their Irvine office last week. I got to try their continuous non-invasive blood pressure monitoring tech firsthand and hear about their work on AI, digital health, and maternal health. Proud to have this innovation happening in the heart of Orange County.

So shocked and saddened to hear of the loss of Rob Reiner and his wife Michele. Rob touched so many people with his storytelling through classics like The Princess Bride and A Few Good Men. He was also so passionate about making the world better. They will be missed.

Wishing a bright and joyful Hanukkah to all who celebrate in Orange County and around the world! May the season bring light, love, and hope to you and your families.

I’m devastated to hear of the brutal antisemitic attack on the first day of Hanukkah at Bondi Beach in Australia. What should have been a time of peace and joy became a tragedy because of hate and senseless gun violence. My heart breaks for the victims of this terrible tragedy.

These new photos show the close relationships Epstein had with the wealthy and powerful.

They are the breadcrumbs leading to the truth.

Tonight, Donald Trump could release the full files. Instead, he’s obstructing justice.

Public service is a privilege, not a pathway to personal gain.

I’m proud to introduce legislation to prevent special government employees from unethically enriching themselves. It’s time to put an end to grift and corruption in government.
December 12, 2025 at 5:46 PM
Families are spending too damn much on electric bills. I introduced an amendment to modernize our energy grid and lower costs for Orange County families. All while wearing my favorite Christmas cardigan!

Whether you rely on Medicaid or have private insurance, Republican cuts to health care will cause your costs to go up AND decrease the quality of your care.

I’ll keep fighting to protect your health care and keep life affordable for Orange County.

Thank you to all of the students who participated in this year’s Congressional App Challenge, and congratulations to Jackie Li for winning the competition!

I’m proud to represent a community filled with so many smart and creative minds. The future is bright for these OC students!

A joyful way to close out the year with community and friends! Thank you to OCIACC for inviting me to speak at your annual Yalda Gala, and for all you’ve done to support our community this year.

For Sudi Farokhnia, the internet is a lifeline, connecting her to her beloved aunt in Iran. But, rolling blackouts by the regime prevented her from contacting her family.

I introduced the FREEDOM act to use already available technologies to bypass Iran’s censorship and keep families connected.

With huge Medicaid cuts looming and ACA tax credits about to expire, health care costs across the OC are beginning to surge, forcing families and clinics alike to make tough decisions. Yesterday, I heard directly from key stakeholders about how the GOP healthcare crisis is impacting them.

Congrats to my friend and OCFA Chief Brian Fennessy on his appointment to be Director of the US Wildland Fire Service. His service at OCFA has protected countless families and kept our communities safe. Grateful for his unwavering dedication and service to Orange County.

We are living through the most corrupt presidential administration in history. While Trump’s DOJ may not be enforcing any laws against his benefactors, corporations need to know @warren.senate.gov and I are watching closely.

Our democracy is not for sale.

Over 80% of Iranians in the US have family members back in Iran, yet they often can’t reach them due to censorship and internet blackouts.

@repyassansari.bsky.social and I shared why my new bill, the FREEDOM Act, is necessary, and why we must do all we can to support internet connectivity in Iran.
December 5, 2025 at 10:04 PM
Instead of working to lower costs or protect your health care, Republicans spent this week pushing racist and xenophobic bills that will hurt our communities.

@capac.house.gov Chair Meng and I broke down exactly how these bills burden teachers and harm our children.

While everyone’s sharing their Spotify wrapped today, here’s my “Congress Wrapped” for 2025!

While serving as Acting US Attorney, Bill Essayli allegedly engaged in a pattern of misconduct and abuse of power to target Trump’s political critics.

This is unacceptable and wrong. That’s why I am leading an effort to hold Essayli accountable.

For months, Republicans have done nothing as ICE has terrorized our communities and repeatedly broken the law.

@oversightdemocrats.house.gov refuse to let this lawlessness continue. We’ll keep working to restore accountability and keep our streets safe.

Maybe someone should remind Sean Duffy that during his “Golden Age of Air Travel,” racial minorities were rarely seen on US flights, vacations to places like Canada or Mexico (let alone another continent) were reserved for the wealthy, and airline accidents were a regular occurrence.
Sean Duffy Longs for the ‘Golden Age’ of Air Travel. What Was That Like?
