Oh no, I sort of agree with Schopenhauer's critique of Schelling. Schelling repeats Spinoza's error of drawing "the line between the ideal and the real, or the subjective and the objective world, from the wrong place." Extension is still representation, for better or worse.

people who care about palestine should take the time to read Boebert's amendment to the pentagon budget. from the way this is worded the pentagon could order food but not buy technology from businesses with ties to bds

Still haven't gotten over the fact that the cover of the American editions of Reich features diagrams that look like fancy butt plugs.

Hi bluesky. Wanted to inform you that my new top gives me those cool boob stretch lines which has never happened to me before. The world is especially scary right now, but it gives me hope that every day people feel little joys like this for the first time.

Ah, that made it click for me. I agree, Derrida is useful for understanding the way passing is both impossible and necessary as a horizon of trans experience. I could be tedious and offer how I think about passing, but instead I will drop this meme and thank you for sharing your post and responses

I asked chatGPT to draft a conservative leaning legal memo about why trans rights are protected for the same reason religious rights are protected. It did a surprisingly good job, but to be fair I prompted with the three cases and the main legal arguments.

Controversial opinion. I hope that he gets really into this, for 3 reasons: 1. the more time he spends on silly conservative spectacles the less time he spends on policy; 2. this will generate a backlash and will radicalize people more than policy; 3. the garbage fire will be better horror than A24.

I find it interesting that transfemmes are the focus of so much of this reaction. Under the phony concern for women is a deep insecurity with what it means to be a man. They are furious anyone would want to leave the team, like how in wars traitors are often shot.
