Gonna put out my thoughts on the Ana Valens thing because it's spilling out into a way larger deal:
I think it was terrible of her to defend Pippa, I am immensely disappointed in her, and BIPOC vtubers are right to be upset.

I do understand that the VTuber community (or the anime community in general for that matter) has a huge problem with racism.
I think that Ana saying that Pippa "didn't play a role in the Nazi pulling a gun on protesters" was downplaying how her "comedy" is enabling such behaviour. 1/?

I cannot stress enough how important this is about to be. The Sovereign Solutions IG page claims to train military clients such as the 75th Ranger Regiment, Special Forces Groups, and 1st Marine Division. If the DoD is actively engaging with companies ran by literal Nazis, it's a big fucking deal.

Vtuber vod archive project already underway. @shirahiko.bsky.social and Nihmune's vod channels archived and already eating up 1.6TB of storage. Gonna have to bring more drives online. My goal is to maintain an archive of as many vtubers as possible for disaster recovery. #vtuber #data #backup
