Oh. I’m glad, you are ok. We got flooded in ‘67 or 8 when we were living right next to the Thames in Surrey. I was young enough to think it was an adventure, but I don’t think my parents did. Dad had a little fibreglass boat, and helped rescue the people in the old folks home.

Paddy, my Sil’s red setter was the most indefatigable, I think he would have walked back to London with me, no problem. 😸 You took him out and me, not knowing Lechlade well, gave him his head. He made straight for a pub! So I knew Les’s (Bil) route immediately. 😹😹

I loved walking all over the Cotswolds when I first came here. Dragging some poor bloody dogs around, either ours or some I was pet sitting. Most were okay about it, although the 2 Irish Wolf Hounds tired quicker than you thought they would.
Now the bathroom is too far on occasion.
