John & 🌈 Gotti, getting irritated and acerbic. We cook with chillies, tinker with electronics, listen to music and The Golden Age of Radio. ♏️

B&W confusion at the diner this morning, trying to keep the orders straight.

Come on John! How much harder that cooking short orders can it be? Although you don’t usually have your customers milling around.

Butch is alone tonight. She and Sundance are such close friends, it’s heartwarming to see. She’s a nice dog, dumb as rocks as they say, but a friendly girl. Even Gotti tolerated her.

(I think she smells the food too, and hasn’t had her dinner yet… I can’t feed everyone)

Don’t see this stripy job that often. (Although as already explained, in low light, sometimes all you see are white bits , so gets confusing)

What shall we dub him/her? Strikes me as a girl though.

“Fish so fresh, it swims in the door with the customers!”

@stillwaving.bsky.social So do we put you down for 2 copies of this informative volume, or just the one?

“Somewhere in Britain” as they said during the war. (Or that could be the Bay of Biscay)

A growing boy needs lunch on a foul day like today!

Ha! Sundance has been visiting, the fish is now half under the couch.
Do you think she gives it just one clip, then leaves again? 😹😹

I’ve been giving this station a try. However “Variety” is a bit of a misnomer. They play the same, about 6, shows on a roll over a day or so, then pick a different 6.

Sort of Old Time CNN.

Monster risotto!

Thank you John-John for sweeping the sunbathing deck for this, possibly the last sunbathing day of the year.

Watching me quietly. 😊 look at those tatty ears. 🥹

Wondering if it’s worth getting this for AM? Breaks my heart to see him huddling up under the table. Foul weather at the moment, and first frost due next week. I can rearrange things to fit it in the corner. Only thing is he will be trapped if Renard the fox gets aggressive. Need to think.

Mmmm. DHL is delivering something that I didn’t order. I guess that makes a change from not delivering something I had ordered. It must even out in the end.
Email address is correct, tracking number format is correct (haven’t clicked on it) The “Your your” was on the last correct one too.

Morning.

Mr Fox came for an early breakfast again, although judging by how empty the bowls are, he or a relative had visited earlier. The cats never clean the bowls that well, decorum dictates that you need to leave something on your plate.

200 itty bitty slide switches. Pity I only needed 1 or maybe 2. But then I’ve gotta think of it as keeping a Chinese 8 year old in regular employment.

Cheese and chilli omelette and chips this morning. The bread has gone over to the dark side, so no toast.

I’ve often had omelette with fries in french places, so why not?

Feels like a Nina Simone morning.

I like these Compact Jazz selection disks, they don’t try and give you strange recordings from god knows where.

I’ve noticed that AM prefers the softer food. Probably a dental issue, eye colour would suggest an older cat too.

Sundance is spurning the last of the the chicken. Probably because it’s fridge-cold and has absorbed some pineapple smell.

Give it a while to air and it will be gone.

Spent my new credit almost immediately. I remember enjoying this book immensely, although nothing of the story. So listening to it tonight.

Looks like I’ve got a damn fox coming for breakfast. This was in the cloud, and before the camera is set to trigger. Idk, bloody software of this thing is total rubbish.

I think this is why the cats stay clear some mornings, the fox smell must be everywhere.

The highlight of today’s Saturday selection of plastic models.

Thank goodness for the 1/72 scale donkey.
