The water consumption thing drives me insane, especially when animal agriculture is completely off the table of discussion. I'm not going to have someone who eats hamburgers scold me about the comparative droplets of data center water cooling.

This has been exactly my feeling as well. I get very frustrated w ai discourse from the Left because it can almost descend into flat out lying about how ai works or what it is. I'm not playing defence for tech corps, but the Left looks stupid when the arguments against ai are just laptop-class cope.
