Yeah the e-motos are cool af but getting them off sidewalks and bikeways would be ideal. Dodged at least 4 on a short evening 606 walk over the weekend.
Trib op-ed doesn't distinguish between ≤ 20 mph e-assist bikes such as e-Divvies (show in their cartoon) which are legal to use in Chicago bikeways, and popular new 30-40 mph "e-moto" mopeds, which really should stick to "car" lanes.
