We are a community-based social enterprise formed in 1987 by a group of young people to address the emerging crisis of youth homelessness in Teesside. We house and support vulnerable people in Middlesbrough, Hartlepool and Stockton.
During her time with us, Carmen developed her independent living skills. She has also worked hard at the Northern School of Art and has secured a place at the University of Edinburgh.
We would like to wish her all the best for the future❤️

It's Mental Health Week, and we're reminded how important it's to take care of our mental well-being. Let's continue to look out for each other, celebrating our strengths, and make sure everyone feels safe, valued and supported - not just this week, but every week.

Some of our Middlesbrough residents visited Stewarts Park recently along with their Support Worker, Lawren and Sue Anderson from Ikigai. It was a good chance to connect and recharge. A big thank you to everyone who joined us.

I recently visited a hotel in Bristol that houses asylum seekers. No one makes the decision to uproot their life and leave their home lightly. I will continue to push the Government to treat those seeking asylum fairly, humanely and without discrimination.

Officially scrapping the Rwanda scheme is a triumph for human dignity, compassion, and justice. No country as repressive as Rwanda can be considered safe. And no country should farm out its responsibilities to genuine asylum claimants to a third country.
