Hard to believe, but there's a cinema in this building. It's at Dartington Hall in Devon and has to be a contender the most beautiful cinema in Britain. #cinema #Devon

Israel has destroyed the "ceasefire" in hours.

It is murdering Palestinians, and maintaining its illegal siege.

Not a ceasefire.

Well that's the trouble. We did. We voted out the Tories, only to get a government that now does the same or worse. It's not hard to see why people feel like giving up on politics.
Vote them out. Replace them with something better. Or stay home and order pizza and scroll cats on Insta while demanding universal basic income and complaining about politics. But you can't have both #Democracy

It's almost as if, before the Gaza famine was officially recognised, it was a story, as media organisations could generate controversy by hosting Israeli government spokespeople and our own rightwing blowhards, insisting it was all a fabrication. Now that it can no longer be denied ... no story.
A month ago, the famine in Gaza, deliberately created by the Israeli government, was officially confirmed by UN agencies. Since then, there has been an eerie silence in the media here, with far fewer reports than there were before. But it hasn't ended. On the contrary, it has intensified.

The deliberate and relentless killing of Palestinian journalists is sickening beyond words — and is a desperate attempt to silence the truth about Israel’s ongoing crimes against humanity.

Shame on all those who empowered Israel to murder with impunity.

For my money, this has to be one of the best cinemas in the UK. Totnes cinema is unbelievably atmospheric, shows great (often but not always esoteric) films and even has a bar so that you can enjoy a glass of something nice. It's perfect. #cinema #movies #films #Devon #Totnes
