New load growth forecast just dropped 👀 #energysky
Last night, PJM released preliminary values for its 2025 load forecast, which once again represent a significant increase from the previous year. These findings will be presented at the Load Analysis Subcommittee next Monday and published in final form early next year.

It's crazy that FERC is not tracking batteries in their energy infrastructure update. EIA projects 23% of new additions in 2024 will be batteries. Imo this is the most consequential trend in energy infrastructure there is. Love to see the renewables additions though.
