If there is one consistent but underappreciated theme in Santa lore it is that cops are on the naughty list.

This is clear in Elf, where Santa explicitly tells Buddy that the Central Park Rangers on the list but think about the many stories in which cops oppose Santa Claus and his followers.

I didn't understand the shock either. It's the norm!
Everyone was shocked when no one stood up for the reporter he called Piggy.

On behalf of all the little girls who were called this and no one stepped up for them either, I see you.

How do you picture Donald Trump?

In January, writer @rwarnica.bsky.social visited the Phillips Collection, America’s first museum of modern art, with Isabelle Brourman: the artist who may come closest to “excavating what there is of Trump’s soul.” thewalrus.ca/the-artist-who-t...

The amount of money this has and continues to cost for what will eventually be a culling of the herd is ridiculous.

Pretty sure his hair and makeup person absolutely hates him.
Trump: "I'm really good at predicting things. During the campaign they had a hat -- a best-selling hat -- 'Trump was right about everything.' And I don't say that in a braggadocios way, but it's true. I've been right about everything."

If you want to learn how truly horrific slavery was, you can travel to places other than the Smithsonian. I was stunned at how brutal and honest the museum in Curacao was.
