I’ve been playing my way through every version of Tetris ever officially released and I gotta say, the original pascal version that Alexey Pajitnov (the creator) made to run in the terminal of his Electornika 60 (unofficial Soviet PDP-11) remains the most fun & charming version I’ve played so far

I checked out a copy of this online. There is only 1 quote that is close, but he is talking about specifically writers, not people in general. Bukowski wasn't the first to express this idea, he wasn't the origin of the quote from the image, but yes he did once say something kind of similar

For those curious, that was typewritten on my gorgeous Olympia De-Luxe SM3, acquired & serviced by the fine folks over at Type Townsend who did me a huge favor in helping get it to me after I made the unforgivable mistake of not taking it home on first sight

One of my favorite things about this time of year is the painterly explosion of golden light that fills this hallway in my house every day around 4:30. It’s the kind of warmth you only find in childhood memories. Sometimes I just stand there admiring it until I’ve forgotten what I was doing prior
