reminder that "filler episode" used to literally mean an episode that was intentionally stalling an anime so the manga could catch up.
it was NEVER meant to mean any part of a story where the plot slows down and the characters get to breathe.

The demonization of the "filler episode" is what is making modern media fall flat. "What does this contribute to the plot?" It contributes character building and fun, what do YOU contribute? (Annoying white noise)
