Yeah, this would be a gift to reactionaries. Actually governing would become impossible.

I commented on this recently

There is no reason for robots to be built like humans. You could design a robot that is perfectly capable of navigating a home and performing household tasks that isn't human shaped. I am convinced the only reason rich people want them to be is because they want to feel like they own a person.

A competent leader could have prevented this. Enough is enough. Set your ego aside and do what's right for the party and the country and step down.
November 10, 2025 at 9:43 PM
As the leader he should be able to control his caucus.
November 10, 2025 at 2:35 PM
He can control them, they're doing exactly what he wants them to

2028 so the primary campaigns would begin in 2027.

@aoc.bsky.social i will donate the maximum legal amount to your campaign if you primary @schumer.senate.gov The party can not survive his failed leadership

It seems like a lot of co-op games are actually just single player games where choices are made by committee, which isn't necessarily a problem, but it's not for me. Does it avoid that?

The inevitability argument doesn't make sense to me because he barely won. He won by 0.86% in Wisconsin, 1.42% in Michigan, and 1.71% in Pennsylvania. There are any number of things that could've been different that could shift such small margins against him.

It feels like every brand, institution, trusted public figure, basically everything other than the average person, is all in on a massive gaslighting campaign about how amazing AI is. Are they being paid to do this? Or is it a case of out of touch group-think among upper class people?
November 6, 2025 at 3:38 PM
Yeah if we want to win those states we need to run the same kind of candidate that has already lost those states.
November 6, 2025 at 7:57 AM
I don't see how someone can be a Democratic leader while being unable to say they voted for the Democrat. @schumer.senate.gov I understand that Andrew Cuomo is your friend, but you're not leading the Andrew Cuomo fan club, you're supposed to be leading the Democratic party.

If a socialist can win in the most capitalist city in the world, literally the home of wall street, I don't want to hear any excuses from anywhere else.
November 5, 2025 at 3:10 AM
Who the fuck even are you? Get over yourself, nobody has to prove anything to you.
November 4, 2025 at 7:18 AM
That's what gets me, they're hyping up AI as
"unlocking a world of infinite creative possibilities, all you have to do is dream it!", but then in reality it just shits out the same 3 generic art styles over and over again.
November 3, 2025 at 1:14 AM
I read that as "worm farm" at first and didn't even question it.

Can't we just Truman Show this guy, so he thinks he's doing stuff while the rest of us live our lives?

US Investors sunk $109 billion into AI in 2024.

"The coming AI revolution" ? Genuinely, why is Colbert taking part in an obvious marketing campaign by billion dollar tech companies to hype up their unprofitable product? I've mentioned before it feels like there is a mass gaslighting campaign going on with AI bsky.app/profile/cog....
