When I was a teacher, my students and I always took time this month to honor the generations of Black Americans who fought against injustice to achieve equal rights.

May we all reflect on our past as we continue working to build a society that lives up to its democratic ideals.

This sweet photo is one of my favourite ever.💕 I love how the little girl has absolutely no concept of personal space & how the kids & Prince Harry are completely engaged in their conversation.😍

Um, that last comment sounds ominous.
COLLINS: We don't even yet know the names of the people killed and you're blaming Dems and DEI policies. Don't you think you're getting ahead of the investigation?

TRUMP: No, I don't think so

C: Does it comfort their families to hearing you blaming DEI?

R: That's not a very smart question

I love this so much!

At the inauguration, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson wore a distinctive collar adorned with cowrie shells, which are believed to offer protection from evil in African traditions.

This choice mirrors the late Justice Ginsburg’s practice of using collars to convey a message.

Absolutely this. It is extraordinary how these countless ‘tiny Brexits’ still go unrecorded & unreported.
👇 Being outside the single market is worse for the UK economy, but I think being outside the customs union is more significant in terms of driving and reinforcing the (IMO correct) belief among a majority of Brits than Brexit was a mistake because it causes a thousand tiny Brexits every day.
Brexit continues to wreak havoc on the small businesses in the hobbies that I'm part of, and threatens the works my brother relies on, yet the terminally online and media continue to obsess about American politics. It's mindboggling to me.

Finland is teaching children in school how to recognize fake news and propaganda as part of critical thinking and civic responsibility. Some of this will seem very familiar.
