Completing this particular assignment for my MBA program is really testing my diplomacy.

I would much rather rip apart the source material for being biased, unfounded, and horribly written instead of using it as a basis for "learning" how to be a better leader.

Finally getting to have a belated birthday dinner for Kid 1. Samosas, dosa, rice, dal tadka, channa masala, and fresh lime sodas. I love having a special activity we can share between the two of us.

*This will be worth it in the end*

Me juggling family, a recent promotion, covering the position I vacated until I hire my replacement, an MBA program, and sleep?

Hopefully things will cool off soon.

Finally starting my first week of MBA program at Dal. Glad the DFA got a better deal, but I feel bad they had to fight so hard and are now having to shorten their courses to fit the abbreviated term.

Anyway, here's me learning how to Word Equation. This old man misses graph paper and pencil.

Fall for me - Sleep Token

Lots of questioning my career choices and the costs to myself, family, and friends lately.

Thankfully I have a supportive family and a great therapist.

There have been innumerable positive changes to our lives since moving to Nova Scotia.

By far the best has been knowing we have friends close by that not only will water plants or check in on the house, but move mountains to help during a crisis.

Using my Toyota Sienna minivan (Truck) to get a bunch of 12' lumber from the hardware store. Yet another instance where my van is probably out cargo-ing the majority of oversized trucks.

Vegan rant:

Animal rescues where they don't have vegan options for food/gifts irritate me.

If your mission is to protect and save animals *but only the ones you care about* then your morals are fucked.

All animals deserve to not be tortured, murdered, or exploited for your convenience.

Hey #bikehfx ! I'm in the market for some new cycling shoes. Prefer MTB/gravel (walkable road shoes) style for 2 hole clipless cleats, boa lacing. Best local shop to buy some? I wear a Men's 13, but am okay ordering through the LBS.

My Giro grinduros from 2021 are dying. 🥲

Delaying 7 seconds for pedestrians might delay their waiting for several minutes in a Timmy's drive through. Can't have that! /s
7 seconds!
Heads up Halifax.
We ask too much of car drivers though.
"Giving pedestrians a 7-second head start at traffic lights is associated with a 33% reduction in total pedestrian injuries—both fatal and non-fatal—at New York City intersections."
