Finally getting to have a belated birthday dinner for Kid 1. Samosas, dosa, rice, dal tadka, channa masala, and fresh lime sodas. I love having a special activity we can share between the two of us.

By far the best has been knowing we have friends close by that not only will water plants or check in on the house, but move mountains to help during a crisis.

Option 1 leave at 7:45am, drive 15 min to catch the last 330 express and arrive at 9am.
Option 2 leave at 10 am, drive 30 min to lacewood terminal then rte 2, arrive at 1130.
Option 3 drive 40 min, no transit.
