There was a Curious George cartoon where he wears safety glasses but isn't sure why. On his first swing he hits himself in the face with the claw part.

This guy is at the same level as Curious George.

Oh crap, thanks for the heads up.

Makes sense, I guess, but I never thought about this being an attack vector.

Are they caged or something? They'd have to be.

I was envisioning a spring loaded arm or something to flip it over. Using the rotors makes sense if you have a little clearance so they can rotate.

Landed upside down, righted itself, and flew away?

What is this sorcery?

I figured the landing would require a few new rotor blades at least. Your rig is a beast!

Holy wow you made that?!

I absolutely 100% thought this was a screenshot from some sort of mod with improved materials and such.

Amazing!

Just amused at the fact that she's been in office for such a stupidly long time.

I'm no historian, i'm just thinking about the math.

She might be most consequential simply because she's been in office for a statistically significant percentage of the institution's existence.

That's great!

I assume you'll be free to unban Link now?

Go into as much detail as you can. For each event:

1. What exactly was done?
2. Who was it done to?
3. Why?
4. According to whom?

Repeat for every event you can find. Then:

5. Can any overall trends be observed or inferred from the responses to these questions?

Is this a real image? What the hell?

I had no idea Target loss prevention had a camera in the Oval Office.

Curious to hear your thoughts on these individuals: wienerholocaustlibrary.org/exhibition/j...

The assignment is to compare and contrast these various groups vs. Hamas.
Jewish Resistance to the Holocaust - The Wiener Holocaust Library
Due to popular demand this exhibition, which draws upon the Library's unique archival collections to tell the often untold story of Jewish resistance, will be returning for a limited run in September ...

i will never vote for Gavin Newsom. i want every other politician to look at how badly Newsom destroyed his own political career by pivoting to fascism & see it as a clear warning that the dignity of marginalized people is not negotiable.

I love that "masturbation pamphlet" is basically unchanged from German to English.

This is the linguistic version of crabs evolving all over the place, everything tends toward masturbation pamphlet.

I can't help but think this was driven by some sort of AI training decision. Like, they have us telling the algorithm what a "good" post looks like but no explicit "this is bad" inputs.

This isn't for us, it's for the algorithm.

20k is Temu-level pricing for a humanoid robot with vision.

*checks video* Yeah, that's about right.

"Arabic might require as much effort and commitment as the acquisition of two or three Indo-European languages in order for a non-native speaker to be able to communicate in a meaningful way."

Really needed this. I love this language but it is A CHALLENGE. Glad it's not just me.

There was a scene exactly like this in The Net (1995). It was in a hospital - they trust the (obviously false) digital records over the person sitting in front of them, and it's presented as this over-the-top future dystopia that is so obviously stupid...

And yet
