I do not want the movie and games industry to turn 'furry' into a genre. I do not want it hotly debated on the news as to its philosophical ideology.
Its fun when the non-furries visit us, but I do not want them to set up shop.

I think 'excitedly dogpiling a celebrity with your fandom' is a young persons pastime. Its nice to see how far we have come from that CSI episode.
I worry about the idea of our community being grown larger in the way that it becomes a lucrative resource to exploit for entities outside the fandom.

For me if there's someone well known who wants to genuinely want to know more about furry and do furry cons on their own terms instead of forced/pressured, I am 100% for them going for it
