Most world series winners don't try and improve is how i'm reading this. Rangers added Seagers, Siemens, Gray, Eovaldi, Degrom with big contracts before winning it all and kinda just stopped pushing the needle.
It has been 25 years since a team has won back-to-back World Series titles.
How do the Los Angeles Dodgers plan to do so? Spend half a billion dollars.

First half he hit 5 HRs in 353 ABs or 1 every 70.6 ABs
Second half he hit 17 HRs in 236 ABs or 1 every 13.9 ABs
Not a coincidence the diamondbacks went from a .505 win% in the first half to a .615 win% in the second.
