I’m hardly the first to make this point, but it’s a staggering example of white male privilege that so many people see the dysfunctional nonsense on the other site and think “Musk has some secret nefarious plan” and don’t ever consider “maybe he’s just not very smart and not very good at his job.”

Some people say Elon bought Twitter to destroy it as an organizing tool. That may be true, but having a front row seat to this from the jump I gotta say, all evidence points to him simply having a massive ego and zero skills.
