I had a long-running exchange with Dan begging him to do a tee with the fantastic neon he did for DWright’s 2015 fist pump (I was there!). I wanted that for his retirement game. Unfortunately I think because his MLBPA deal lapsed, he wasn’t able to do it.
The only one of his neons I have is Vogey😂

Lee Mazz was my 1st favorite Met. Had this poster on my wall throughout my childhood.
I remember going to Dodger Stadium in ‘88 and during BP, he traded a fan a ball for a Dodger Dog.
My college bud had Mazz do a Cameo for me when I lost my little bro to cancer. He’s close to my heart.

I love Athlete Logos, Dan did an awesome design for a 2022 playoff pennant for me when the #Mets didn’t produce one for my collection, but I don’t think he has the licensing to use the official Mets logo like 7 Line does.

That said, as much as I love our Captain, he belongs in in the Hall of Very Good along with guys like Don Mattingly; players with HOF talent but broken bodies didn’t give them the longevity they needed.
He’s a legend, but not HOFer.

Fascinating as it’s the basis for much of what you see in the MLB right now.
Issue is what lessons you take, & the fact emulating other pitchers’ efficiencies doesn’t necessarily map to your body.
Performance science still way ahead of health.
