But, there are some issues that I feel like I'm caught between a rock and a hard place. I want to weigh in. I want to speak up in support of the issue. But I don't want to alienate anybody. Advice please... As a writer, how do you handle political discussions?

Personally, I don't see selling your work on Amazon as being a problem. The way I figure it, if you want to, you should. If somebody else doesn't want to, they shouldn't. Somebody wants to ask you (or me) to boycott? Sure, they can ask, but the decision is ultimately yours.
