Hey, folks. If you're a promoter, please forgive me, but I need to set some boundaries. Over on that other place, I got a lot of DM's from promoters. They'd ask me about my book. I'd tell them I'm not writing one, I write short stories. Then they'd ask about the book again.

#writingcommunity I've come to a point where I need to figure some things out, and the biggest thing right now is political discussions. Right now, I don't weigh into them because as a writer, I want every reader I can get. The last thing I want is to be cancelled for my political views.

Let's normalize talking about mental health. It's the best way to end the stigma. Honestly, talking about it is hard work, especially if our mental health isn't in good shape, like mine has been. #writersmentalhealth #writingcommunity

Today my patio becomes my office. The sun's shining, there's a Song Sparrow singing in the tree to my left. And I'm on Scribophile, critiquing. I even got a bit of writing done this morning. #writingcommunity

Tomorrow's Father's day. I picked up Weekend At The Lake to see if I can make some progress, and I'm reading through. There's a scene between Peter and Timmy where father and son are interacting. It's tense. And I can't help but think of my own stepfather, gone three years now.

Guess I'll start things off. My mental health is why I write. Writing helps me process. I've said this before... hopefully some day, somebody will read my stories, identify with my characters, and know they're not alone. #writersmentalhealth

Well, I finally did it! Writers, we finally have a place where we can talk about mental health and support each other. Tag #writersmentalhealth to find the Writer's Mental Health feed. #writingcommunity

I've been really struggling, lately. Honestly, writing is hard when I barely have enough energy to exist.
