Today my patio becomes my office. The sun's shining, there's a Song Sparrow singing in the tree to my left. And I'm on Scribophile, critiquing. I even got a bit of writing done this morning. #writingcommunity

No, not necessarily a landmark. Something that the cab driver might be proud of, and want to show off. A sense of awe, and wonder, in my characters, that the reader picks up on. This is what I was looking at last night, when I dropped into a random spot along their possible route.

Wish I'd done this earlier... I'm a visual person, so seeing the map actually helps me. I'll wager that Lincoln Tunnel hadn't been built yet. Was the current I-78 bridge built yet, but with a different name?

This clip is from Reunion, where we really get to know Amy. Reunion is finished. It's just waiting for me to submit it for critiques, edit as needed, and then submit to a publisher.

I'll take that challenge. Cassie is anxious, walking to school without her best friend.
