Democrats have to embrace the teacher mentality. Treat people like a student. Find something to affirm in their instinct/feeling, then say how you can help them move forward from that feeling. Start all messaging with “You’re right (or kind or smart) to care about __ and I’m with you because…”

Idea for retraining attention spans: Put a setting on your phone which enables a 2 delay on every click you make (besides typing letters/numbers). Recreate the patience needed to use early internet. Who do I talk to about this?
