As chair of the NYC Council’s Immigration Committee, I have been fighting firsthand against the harmful narratives that are so often ascribed to our immigrant neighbors. But the truth is: nearly 40% of our city was born in another country.

ICE has continued to escalate their unlawful attacks within our court. We must keep paying attention to these violent attacks.
