I'm sure all the upper middle class whites in their 50's and 60's who voted for Trump are just THRILLED to hear him say "Akshuwally the stock market doesn't matter." Gonna be great for their 401k's.

For all practical purposes, we *are* being occupied by a hostile enemy.
I can't think of a faster way to undermine the country than simultaneously firing government workers, cutting scientific research, rolling back protections on public health & environment, & cutting essential services. It's like the US was defeated in war and is being occupied by a hostile enemy.

I have covered presidential politics for 40 years. This was the most juvenile display by a President and Vice President I have ever seen. Other presidents treated their enemies with more respect. This is a low point and a dark day for the US. Totally embarrassing.

A Russian puppet committed to empowering Putin and weakening the West would not have acted differently from Trump and Vance today. “Betrayal” does not capture the scope of the evil we saw.
