i *don’t* think I’ll be consuming anything dystopian or apocalyptic in the near future because i think we’ve been living in an active dystopia since at *least* 2016 and i don’t need to see art imitate that particular aspect of life right now.

There are many things I admire about David Lynch. One of them was his resolute refusal to explain his art. I said what I wanted to say in the work! If I wanted to communicate something that could be summed up in an essay, I’d have written an essay! We need more of that.

Been working in Clip Paint Studio for a couple of days now as I’m trying to switch over from Photoshop and i’m loving it! Some of the hot keys and commands are still a bit clunky to me but so far so good!

Blocking anyone who is mildly sus immediately and without particular emotional engagement is obviously the best way to go but once in a while it would be nice to have a block option that ALSO produces an animation of the profile being flushed down a toilet or maybe the text melting gruesomely away

I have been reteaching myself how to draw via fanart and it has been both fun and frustrating at the same! Wild that I went to school for illustration and don’t remember much of what was taught to me. Pandemic really fucked me up I fear 😵‍💫
