You’re so right, Vicky — the geology tells the deeper story. All that ancient power beneath the water, strong enough to remind you how small and fragile you are! Although perspective suggests otherwise, I stood well back, completely awed. Such a place.

Thank you, Annie — it really is an amazing place. Wild, beautiful, and fierce! I felt awed standing there (much further from the edge than the video suggests!). Yet, Autumn’s hush still somehow wrapped around everything.
