Vacancies on committees due to lack of active Reform councillors
At the recent meeting of Worcestershire County Council, I asked the leader of the council, Reform councillor Jo Monk, the following question: The leader is struggling to fill several places on committees and panels with Reform councillors. If they are unable to find councillors to take these places, can they be shared between opposition councillors? My question was prompted by the fact that several scrutiny panels and committees had vacancies due to no Reform councillors being willing to put their names forward.

No Reform councillors agree with climate science!
Following a debate at Worcestershire County Council about the science of climate change, it was revealed that not a single reform councillor could support the statement that "man-made climate change exists." Due to a lack of time, I was unable to participate in the debate; therefore, I have included my prepared speech below. To summarise, when it comes to climate science, Reform are ignorant, conspiracy theorists in the pocket of big oil.

Reform’s Environment Cabinet Member doesn’t believe in climate change
Yesterday, I asked the Reform Cabinet Member for Environment, Councillor Ian Cresswell, whether he agreed that human actions cause climate change. Councillor Cresswell broadly suggested he did not believe human activity was the main driver of climate change. The response fell short of a clear endorsement of the scientific consensus. This sparked immediate concern across the chamber. Many councillors expressed dismay that the senior figure responsible for environmental policy appeared unwilling to acknowledge the overwhelming evidence on the human causes of climate change.
