Over the last month, I've been running this program (4 training days per week, cycling through 2x).
I had been pushing the volume up previously and felt a need to shift to a low-volume, high-intensity plan, and in the coming month will start to push the volume up again.

I've seen it suggested that people should focus on amino acid intakes vs total protein.
This overcomplicates nutrition because when people consume sufficient protein to optimise health and bodycomp (with at least some variety) they get all the aminos they require in more than sufficient amounts.

Hemp, Mussel, or Fish Oil?
Hemp has a 3:1 omega 6-3 ratio and relatively high amounts of alpha-linolenic acid (+antioxidants and 2ndary nutrients.)🌱💪🏽 But many people don't convert ALA to DHA and EPA effectively.
Fish oil has high levels of DHA and EPA and is MUCH cheaper than Mussel oil. 🐟🥇

Certain values are ascribed to men because that's how they've been perpetuated by societal stereotypes and patriarchal views of gender roles.
If you don't think that women are resilient, courageous, and great leaders, you haven't been paying attention... and you're missing out. 🤷🏽‍♂️

A lot of people confuse homeopathy and herbal medicine... and many simply dismiss herbal medicine outright.
But many herbs have demonstrated positive results in clinical trials and can be part of an effective, evidence-based approach to healthcare.

I call this 'Eggs Benedict Arnold'... 😂
Soft boiled eggs, scooped out onto ham and aioli on a bagel, and washed down with a glass of high-protein milk.
A quick and easy Eggs Bennie alternative. (inc. milk: ~875 cals, 65 g protein, 90 g carbs, 27 g fat)

I get a lot of 😂🤣😂 from PTs and nutrition coaches when I say that milk is a good source of protein... It's almost as if it ain't steak or whey, it ain't protein. 😐
BUT high-protein milk is one of the best value proteins, with a good protein-energy ratio. ➕It's essential with cookies. 🥛🍪💪🏽

I bloody love #Ramen !
It's quick, cheap, and simple to make.
'White' carbs, while often derided are actually a good option for me (they're low in nickel) and I pack out the ramen with meat to bolster the protein and LOADS of veggies.

This ultra-minimalist strength program is inspired by the 1 and 2 lift-a-day programs of many old-time strength athletes (e.g., Bednarski, Anderson). Programs like this are 'all killer, no filler', but they allow flexibility to add finishers, additional work, etc.
