And that’s not even mentioning the framing and wording of forcible quirk activation- it just feels unnerving in its violation. Again the biggest signs of abuse is all mostly early manga. It’s always been there

With Kurogiri specifically it’s always been just.. kinda creepy. Just vaguely and subtle enough that most miss it. But AFO consistently talks to him as if he’s some wayward child, ranging from weirdly gentle to passive aggressive. And of course children are often seen as possessions of their parents

Yea I’ve been thinking on this and that’s exactly it. I was thinking about the discourse around “heroes defend and villains violate” when that chapter released. And it’s like.. that alone is an indicator of Zen’s predatory nature but he very consistently uses this language and has this framing

I appreciate that this art history textbook I’m reading refers to Hitler’s artwork as “mediocre”. I see way too much dogwhistle-y posts lamenting about his art and it’s like.. well I think his “degenerate art” exhibition is more relevant for his topic and also possibly the everything else?

The Reze vs Bakugo powerscaler wars has finally stopped being annoying and is now just funny
The fact that the English translation changed Aizawa’s metaphor about Kurogiri/Shirakumo from black/white to dark/light is more annoying than it seems on the surface. He’s referencing paint mixing!! Light overtakes dark but white paint can’t overtake black paint 😭 light/dark makes it confusing

It turned out so nice but unfortunately the cutting technique + my design means there’s some pretty sharp edges, which do dig in when you set it up.. idk. I might ship them pre-set and put in a liability disclaimer
