We've had a lot of fun so far this year publishing articles on @pelliclemag.com but this month our subscriber numbers are down. We've got so much commissioned and in the works, so if you enjoy what we publish consider supporting us for a few quid each month:

This statement about the transphobic Supreme Court ruling by the UK's Crab Museum (yes a museum about crabs) is better than 99% of the statements I've seen on the topic

After derogatory marks were made towards pubs and drinkers in the FT a couple of weeks ago by one of its new food and drink team, I pitched its editor asking for a right to reply. They didn’t, so I wrote it for my monthly What’s Brewing column anyway. Read it here:

Having your first beer of the weekend? While you do, our petition is about 440 short of being half way to a statement from the government. Give it a sign!

Hey #London #MetalSky. I can't make it to Wardruna at the Royal Albert Hall tomorrow. Does anyone want two balcony tickets, for low/no cost? Or a charity donation?

I'm absolutely devastated that I can't go.

Please share, thanks x

Earlier this week we celebrated 10 years of @sxbottleshare.bsky.social

10 years, every month, even during the pandemic, a group of strangers who became friends have enjoyed many good times

Some have come and gone, and will continue to do so but I’m proud to have been a small part of this legacy

I love this local Bottleshare club and have met some fantastic people through it. Thanks to everyone for being so welcoming these past few years and hopefully see everybody still in 2035 🍻

Tomorrow we celebrate our 10th birthday so we thought it was high time to join Blue sky! We have held bottleshares on the first Tuesday of the month since February 2015, and built a wonderful community along the way 🍻🍻

OK, BlueSky feels pretty mature now so let's see how well it deals with this #JournoRequest:

Your suggestions please for whisky distilleries *outside Scotland* that go looooooong with their fermentations.

RTs welcome and much appreciated.

I’m wondering if I should return to #12BeersOfXmas this year to see whether we can get the old community going on here?

Choose 12 beers, drink them over Xmas, however you choose to. Most folk do one a day but there are other varients!

Start/finish when you want, I normally start 20 Dec and go until NYE.

Post picture/thoughts on here, use #12BeersOXmas and hopefully the community gets involved 👍🏼
