I'm rewatching Justice League and John Stewart doesn't make anything with the ring. He just uses beams and circles/spheres. Is that how he works in the comics. Is he just very direct and not imaginative?

22 magnificent people value own voice stories enough to put down some money. I need that to get to 30 tonight. $45 in 15 minutes and I’ll stay up late and tell you a story.

If it’s not you, please reskeet this.

Thank you.

The death of browsing is part of the reason art is the way it is now. Our opinions are largely fed to us by algorithms. Spending a spare 15 minutes wandering around a bookstore or comic shop or video rental place was how you found stuff you wouldn't ordinarily pick up and thereby expanded your taste
Bookselling is like the most "people go to the store and buy what looks cool to them without a particular agenda" type business left, and your purchases have a huge influence on what is ordered, what is displayed, and what is recommended.

Seems like the word "folks" is being used a lot more frequently in the last few years, while "people" is declining.

What ia it about "folks" that makes it preferable to "people"?

It must suck to be Sage for #GenV and #TheBoys. To have perfect plans and them be screwed up by someone's character flaw or emotional episode. Might as well have named her sybil.

I get messages from quora about popular (i guess) questions, and its always questions a Christian is asking about judaism that are suspiciously rudimentary or malicious in a veiled way. Veiled by feigned ignorance. You know it's feigned by the fact that they knew enough to ask the question. Does...

This sort of implies that there are only herbivores and top carnivores. There are animals in the middle of the food chain, middle carnivores/omnivores that fight back against an apex predator without having to justify that they also kill to eat.

It is incredibly annoying that all the arrowverse shows are not on the same streaming service. If they are on any streaming service at all.

I can often eat a balanced meal large enough to make most people full and still be quite hungry afterwards. Does this happen to anyone else?
Sometime I don't want to just eat more of that balance meal, assuming there are leftovers at all.

The President—who uses antisemitic slurs—is building concentration camps and an enormous secret police force.

Ya know, maybe this is just because I’m Jewish, but I wish the political opposition and the media made a bigger deal about it!

DVD menus used to have easter eggs and be themed to match the movie/series. That's a bit of charm and art streaming doesn't have.
