Last night I had a dream where my Momma was with me again. This time I didn’t cry, we laughed and sorted through clothes together to prepare for a trip. I knew she was gone, I even hugged her deeply and told her how much I missed her. I woke up with a feeling of peace, like she came to comfort me.

Finally watched “A Christmas Story Christmas” tonight. As someone grappling with the loss of a parent and the realities of the first Christmas without them, it was a hard watch. I miss you, Momma. You loved Christmas so much…love you always.

Well, we have a sick one now and I’m feeling a bit off myself. Christmas will be a homey affair, I suppose. Thankful for grocery pickup services so I don’t have to brave the sea of humanity for last minute dinner items. 🤣

Baking is in full force today. :D Celtic Christmas music on the speaker, giggles from my littlest as she swipes little bits of dough to eat, smells of warm sugar and pastry in the air…truly warms my heart and soul. 💜 This particular recipe is just *chefs kiss*

First injury of the season. As longtime fans of B. Dylan Hollis, my kids have been dying to make Lime Jello Fudge. Dylan was not joking when he talked about it having ranged attacks. 😳 Got several burns, one of which was pretty gnarly right on my hand. Thankful for bags of frozen vegetables. 🤣

First injury of the season. As longtime fans of B. Dylan Hollis, my kids have been dying to make Lime Jello Fudge. Dylan was not joking when he talked about it having ranged attacks. 😳 Got several burns, one of which was pretty gnarly right on my hand. Thankful for bags of frozen vegetables. 🤣

Last night I took the kidlets to Dragon’s Lair. We had a blast playing games from the board game library and learning a new (to us) style of MtG. We chilled in the Star Wars room which was beautifully painted…with one addition that took me out. I laughed so hard. 🤣

I had my Erik home for just one day today. He got a hot shower, put in a ton of laundry, then we marathoned the Venom movies. We enjoyed the hell out of the first one, but man, that series kinda devolved. Back to his camp tomorrow and I will miss him a ton. 💜

I bounced off of all social media really but I do rather like it here. 💜 So much has changed since I last posted, it’s unreal. I was laid off, found a new company to kick ass for, found out about some major family health issues, and so much more. Life tends to take your breath away sometimes…

Last night, we played board games: “Let’s Hit Each Other With Fake Swords” was hysterical and “Dungeon Mayhem” was fun as always. Then my biggest and bonus kiddos brought a King Cake for everyone. The evening ended with Smash Bros until midnight. The happy loud always makes my heart so happy. 💗

When it’s been a few years since you got a haircut and you find out that six inches need to come off to remove all the deadness..😳 It wasn’t mermaid hair, it was straw hair. 🤣 Having it cleaned up is a huge mood booster though. #selfcare #haircut #curlyhairdontcare
