We confuse “you need to do something” with “I alone must be present for anything to be happening”
Hell is already here. If people who organize don’t know you? You didn’t want to be known. You can change that. You cannot, however, choose to be unknown and then claim to not know what to do.

The thing is, if no one has called you to tell you what to do that’s because no one who is doing anything knows you. That’s something YOU control. If you aren’t known to orgs, then they cannot call you.
Go. Or don’t. But either way the emotions of watching it happen are your own to manage.
