I have been struck with something. We all mourn the death of Charlie Kirk. It absolutely was pure evil.

But there have been an immense amount of school shootings… against children.. and the GOP doesn’t show 1/456th of the remorse they demand America shows for Charlie

The Trump Administration Accidentally Texted Me Its War Plans
U.S. national-security leaders included me in a group chat about upcoming military strikes in Yemen. I didn’t think it could be real. Then the bombs started falling.

isn’t it worse if you accidentally let a *bad* journalist spy on your war plans
asked about texting war plans to a Signal group, Pete Hegseth deflects by attacking Jeffrey Goldberg as a "discredited so-called journalist."

(MAGA's only plays are whataboutism and attacking the messenger. Every. Time.)

What sort of campaigning involves "vote-counting computers"?

Our Pennsylvania analyses support the hypothesis of potential manipulation with vote tabulations.

Shouldn't we take a look into that? 🤔

Televangelist Pat Robertson once said "I think having a woman president would be a terrible mistake. Women are too emotional to handle high office."

Strange how when men in office shout and berate others in a childish emotional outburst, it's praised by some as "boldly standing up for our country."

18F, the federal government’s technology shop, was demolished by Musk’s team shortly after midnight. It was a cost-recoverable org, charging agencies for their expertise, using a consulting model. Its cost to government was negligible, its benefits huge. My team there once saved DoD $500 billion.

WOW. After yesterday’s Oval Office ambush of President Zelensky, Haltbakk Bunkers, one of Norway’s leading marine fuel providers, announced that it will no longer refuel U.S. Navy vessels, urging other European firms to follow suit.

The United States is weaker and more isolated than ever.

I’ve seen great leaders up close and terrible leaders up close. I’d follow Zelensky into fire, and I wouldn’t piss on fire to put Trump out.

This isn’t the America I fought and killed for, nor what my friends died for.

Absolute cowardice from the President in front of the world.

In the last election, one candidate was proposing coercive restrictions on personal liberty and replacing free trade and free markets with heavy tariffs and authoritarian favoritism. The other was Kamala Harris. Bezos personally killed an endorsement of Harris and celebrated at Trump’s inauguration.
Washington Post owner Jeff Bezos just emailed the paper's staff to announce a "change coming to our opinion pages."

It really is reasonable to ask how we could possibly ever forgive our fellow Americans for voting for what is happening to us right now and what is going to continue to happen for years and years.

I mean the simple answer would be... we just don't, right? Ever? Because some things are unforgivable?
