Wow, what a JOB ! Tried to remove 3 Chain-Link Fence posts in our yard that were no longer wanted. Thought it would be easy. They were sunk into 32 inches of concrete ! Who DOES that? Dug and dug. Finally had to go buy this Hi-Lift jack to pull the posts out. (Have always wanted a jack like this)👍

Kudos to them for standing up for the First Amendment. It reminds me of when Mr. Rogers stood up to Nixon's attempts to gut public broadcasting 56 years ago.

Our urban deer that frequent the evening shade in our backyard have returned. While they were standing, we determined they must be pregnant. Their udders are quite large. Perhaps in a few weeks or so they will bring their fawns, and bed them down under our Lilacs. That would be neat... (stay tuned)

We have a couple deer who eat our lilacs and rest in our yard. Tonight I see they are quite pregnant with well developed udders.

Past 3 days, we've had these two visitors in our yard. We live right in town neighbors and streets all around us. Sometimes they're here in the morning, sometimes in the evening. Often they leave, then return. We don't bother them, and they seem to not mind us wandering around quite near to them.

Smoked a pork loin this afternoon. Used Applewood chips. Tried a new (to us) spice rub recipie, which we will tweak ingredients a bit for our next smoke session. Loin turned out tender and Juicy with a nice smoke ring & flavor. Thanks to Tessa, for all her help with prep, and suggestions.

If blue states, invented a method to withhold transfers to the IRS, we'd be in a much better negotiating position. Moneys transferred could be ( for instance ;-) dependent on payments made and programs continued, records maintained and aid distributed.
