Bush and Cheney owe a huge vote of thanks to Trump for making them look so much better in comparison than they were. But they were a major disaster for the nation in their own right, and made major contributions to building the ship that Trump/Vance sailed in on.

Off topic but I pass this along as you have some connection to Ft. Bragg as a place & name. The general was not a Southern favorite, and came very close to being cashiered by Davis in Tennessee at the demand of his subordinates, so some surprise that he was honored (if he was).

Off topic but I pass this along as we have some connection to "Ft. Bragg" and I thought of it as I was reading "Letters From Lee's Army." The Confederate army was very unhappy with Bragg and came close to cashiering him in Tennessee, which says something I guess about how the fort came to be named.
