This was almost a conservative's mantra at one time. Those who actually believe in this principle have left MAGA. Those who only thought they did are now standing up for the opposite. Irony lives on.

Immigrants are literally being sadistically persecuted. Do you wonder why? Have you seen that Alligator Alcatraz merch for sale? Many people - a lot of them so-called Christians - are getting off on the pain and the suffering of others. This is the same negative energy Hitler tapped into.

Where is the person or body willing to stand up to Trump? It's not Congress. It certainly isn't the SCOTUS. Give one reason why anyone should think that Trump will accept a political challenge to his hold on the power as lawful? Really rather naive to think so.

OK. I get it. It's hyperbole to call this guy Hitler.
But, the creation of a new scapegoat class, and the enforcement of his immigration policies make it dead-on accurate to call him Hitler-lite.
Nothing else Trump has done represents as big a threat to our own citizenry as this.
